My name is Amy Roberts. I’m a Massage Therapist and a Massage Therapy Business Coach. I’ve travelled the world as a guest speaker on how massage therapists can increase their businesses without burn-out or expensive advertising. I also coach therapists on the phone via teleconferences and I have been writting for the AMTA for the past three years.
People don’t seem to last long in this business. Why is this? Is it burn-out? Is it that therapists are not able to make massage therapy work as a business? To be honest I think its a little of both- through no fault of their own. So what I teach is about a balance. Its very good to make fifty or sixty grand from massage a year, but how will you maintain your health and your well being? I cover those topics too.
Remember the true meaning of success is really about happiness. What success is to one person is not success to another. Your own value of success must be established before you can move confidently into the future.
